Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Coneview, a service operated by Korel ("Coneview", "Korel", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website at coneview.app and related services (the "Service"). Korel is the data controller for the personal data described here. If you have any questions, contact us at support@coneview.app.

1. Information we collect

• •Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile picture provided by Google. We use a passwordless (magic link) or Google sign-in; we never see or store your Google password.
• •Usage data. The instruments and time horizons you request, your saved favourites and alerts, your subscription tier, and basic quota counts, so the Service works across your devices.
• •Payment data. Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive only your subscription status and non-sensitive billing metadata.
• •Content you submit.Questions you type into the AI Analyst or Ask-the-Market chat are processed to generate a response (see "Third parties" below).
• •Technical data. Standard log and device data (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) collected by our hosting providers for security and reliability.

2. How we use your data

• •To provide, maintain and secure the Service and your account.
• •To generate forecasts, briefs and chat responses you request.
• •To manage subscriptions, quotas and entitlements.
• •To send you service and account emails (e.g. sign-in links, alerts you enable).
• •To detect, prevent and address abuse, fraud or technical issues.
• •To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), with your consent where required (e.g. optional communications), and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Third parties and processors

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:

• •Supabase — authentication and database (your account and app data).
• •Vercel and Railway — website and application hosting.
• •Paddle — payment processing and subscription management (Merchant of Record).
• •Google — optional sign-in (OAuth), if you choose it.
• •Anthropic — the AI provider that powers the AI Analyst and chat. Text you enter into those features is sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Do not enter sensitive personal information into chat.
• •Market data providers (e.g. Yahoo Finance, Pyth Network) supply public market prices; we do not share your personal data with them.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers are located outside the UK/EEA; where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as your last viewed instrument). We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@coneview.app. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above.
